Method for Migrating Data Service for EV-DO System to 1X System

PURPOSE: A method for redirecting a data service transmitted toward an EV-DO system to a 1X system is provided to supply a data service to an EV-DO system with regards to a normal request of a user, and to redirect an excessive request to a 1X system in order to provide the data service through the 1X system having a sufficient capacity. CONSTITUTION: An operator of an EV-DO system(200) sets RPC_COUNTs(Reverse link Power Control_COUNTS) in subcell unit(310). The EV-DO system(200) informs an HAT(210) of changed contents on an overhead message, and transceives a quick configuration message(320). If a subscriber requests an access to the EV-DO system(200)(330), the EV-DO system(200) checks whether a confirmed sequence of an access request signal exceeds the number of the set RPC_COUNTs(340). If so, the HAT(210) is not assigned with a channel(350). The HAT(210) requests the access by being redirected to a 1X system(100)(360). The 1X system(100) supplies a data service to the HAT(210)(370).
