Experimental Research on the Hydraulic Characteristic of Energy Absorber with Spiral Orifice Pipe

The energy absorbing of the pipe is an important component of the water transmission system under the pressure, and the structural factors, the hydraulic characteristics and the energy absorbing efficiency of the energy absorber are the main foundations of the design and utilization of the energy absorber. This paper advances five kinds of more appropriate energy absorbers, and based on the experimental research, expounds the hydraulic characteristic of the energy absorber with spiral orifice, and analyzes on the energy absorbing mechanism and efficiency.
