Fuzzy Genetic Algorithm for Prioritization Determination with Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution

Summary A new multi-criteria decision making method (Fuzzy Genetic Algorithm-Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution: FGA-TOPSIS) is proposed for dealing with criteria and alternatives in a fuzzy environment. Genetic Algorithm (GA) is used to address the weights of criteria and then the best solution is determined by using the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. A numerical experiment is also conducted to demonstrate the procedure of the proposed FGA-TOPSIS method in the decision making processes.
