On the structure of Poincaré-Lyapunov constants for the weak focus of polynomial vector fields

In this paper generalized Poincare-Lyapunov constants Vi, i = 1, 2,…, are defined and an explicit formula is given for the Lyapunov functions. It is shown that Vi is determined modulo V1,…, Vi − 1. This is used for the investigation and creation of limit cycles.
