Reliability of railway vehicles in the country was started from KTX. At present, it were institutionalized that the RCM system in the maintenance phase and the RAMS activities from the production stage. Management agencies, was required change of maintenance that a top priority of train operation service punctuality, and customer satisfaction. In particular, changes in maintenance policy of a failure of the various forms or failure due to aging of components were required. SMRT was carried out reliability analysis of major systems for the use of maintenance train operating agency center, and efficient collection of data. And SMRT has developed a complete reliability analysis program in its own right. Future, based on the analysis know-how and development system, it is intended to apply to continuously promote RCM maintenance train system.
