Sistem Monitoring Online Pada Budidaya Udang Menggunakan Wireless Sensor Network dan Internet Of Things

The emphasis on water quality standards for shrimp aquaculture is much more than the other farming systems. Shrimps are considered to be more sensitive to abrupt changes in water quality parameters and hence utmost care needs to be exercised to maintain the water quality in shrimp farms. The purpose of this study was to develop an Online Monitoring System on Shrimp Cultivation using the Wireless Sensor Network and the Internet of Things. The purpose of developing this system is to help shrimp farmers to monitor and control water quality in shrimp farms. This system can monitor four water quality parameters in shrimp ponds, namely temperature, pH, salinity, and Dissolved Oxygen (DO). With the development of this system it is hoped that it can facilitate farmers to monitor and control water quality in shrimp farms. Online Monitoring System Development on Shrimp Cultivation using Wireless Sensor Network and the Internet of Things uses prototyping models. There are five stages in the prototyping model, namely Communication, Planning, Model Design, Prototype Development, and Distribution and Evaluation. Product development with a model will produce a good product, because if all phases have been passed it can be iterated until it produces the desired product.
