Ordonnancement d'atelier en temps réel : d'ORABAID à ORDO

Due to the disturbed environment in manufacturing workshops, scheduling has to be considered as a real time decision problem. Thus, a decision support system is proposed for real time scheduling. It exhibits a set of feasible decisions for any event, foreseen or not, inducing a decision. These decisions are deduced from the characterization of a set of schedules compatible with the main constraints to be satisfied. This set is obtained by defining sequences of groups of permutable operations for every workshop resource. A method to search for such group sequences is described. Significant decision events, foreseen or not, are identified and the associated decision aid is described. A real time scheduling software (ORABAID) based on these results has been developed. It is the core of the workshop scheduling package ORDO, marketed and implemented in around 50 companies. Basic principles and main fonctiunalities of ORDO are described and some implementation results are presented.
