RISK MODELING FOR COMMERCIAL GOODS TRANSPORT
暂无分享,去创建一个
This study presents a risk analysis of goods movement along the transportation corridors of Los Angeles County, focusing on I-710 and I-10, and using geographic information systems (GIS). In the analysis truck and passenger car accidents are compared and the accident rates are estimated. Segments with a high potential for accidents are identified, and the risk associated with the transportation of goods is calculated. Using results from the analysis, high-risk locations are identified. It is intended that the study would serve to further the development of risk models used for estimating risks associated with the transportation of goods and develop policy measures related to goods movement in Southern California.
