Partizipative Leitbildentwicklung und Hochschulkommunikation - Eine Fallstudie zum Einsatz sozialer Software am Beispiel der Universität Regensburg

Web-based social software can play an important role in introducing innovative internal and external communication processes. In this paper we discuss the participation-oriented and web-based development of a corporate mission statement for the University of Regensburg. The design of a communication process as well as the quantitative analysis of the communication on a bulletin board system established for this purpose is presented. Additionally we briefly introduce a university blog which was recently opened as a consequence of the high acceptance und participation in the discussion system.
