Study on consumer classification differentiated pricing of electricity

Proper pricing strategies are the key for electricity marketing. Based on the analysis of present situation of electricity price in China, some indispensable factors, which have great effect on electricity pricing, are discussed. Furthermore, a novel decision-making approach of electricity price is proposed, considering the classification of consumers and their characteristics. Different load factor, voltage level of power supply, load shape and requirement of reliability for different consumers are especially taken into consideration. Case study result shows the reasonability of the proposed procedure.
