A Method of Parameter Design for Products with Complex Quality Structure Based on Particles Swarm Optimization Algorithm

The concept of quality structure is first proposed in this paper,and then complex products' quality is characterized by quality structure model.Based on products' quality structure,a parameter design model for complex product system is constructed.Particles Swarm Optimization Algorithm is applied to solve the problem,thus the parameter design for products with complex quality structure is finished.The method proposed in this paper may provide a new thread to parameter design for products with complex quality structure.Parameter design for pneumatic device is finally given as an example to illustrate the process of the proposed method and to verify its feasibility and effectiveness,getting the optimal combination for designing parameter is diameter of reversing piston being 25.4851mm,the air pressure inside cylinder being 3.2MPa and the length of reverse travel being 51.8mm.
