On-Line Multiloop Supervisory Knowledge-Based PID Control

Abstract A first generation on-line knowledge-based multivariable/multiloop PID control system is implemented in this paper. The integration of the knowledge-based system with conventional process control system software and hardware is achieved through an interfaced approach. This approach is useful for enhancing existing conventional control systems. A sample session with the multiloop knowledge-based PID control system is also given.
