Characterization methods of low frequency RTS noise in cooled infrared detectors

Two methods of detection and characterization of blinking pixels are presented and compared. The first one is based on the time-scaled signal and the other is based on the power spectral density of the signal. These methods are then applied on a temperature dependent measurement. It is then shown that the number of RTS pixels and the blinking frequency follow a Boltzmann behavior.
