6–10 GHz Circularly-Polarized Multistatic Array for Standoff Microwave Imaging

A system for performing standoff microwave imaging has been developed for the evaluation of imager performance in the upper C- and lower X-bands. The imaging system aperture is based on a sparse multistatic topology compatible with fast imaging techniques. Details on the design and realization of the imaging aperture are presented, as well as experimental images formed with the fabricated imaging array.
