Simulation of large-scale photovoltaic grid-connected systems

The paper presents models for numerical simulation of large-scale photovoltaic grid-connected systems(LPVGS).On the basis of the models,corresponding software is developed in C++ Builder development environment.A calculating example of LPVGS is provided.The results show that by the use of this software,the weather data in site and configuration of solar arrays,the operation power and its distribution of all components of the LPVGS can be calculated so that the long-term performance may be predicted,such as the matching degree among the photovoltaic(PV)array,the inverter and the utility,system efficiency,system cost and so on.
