Dual feed monopole antenna

A new dual feed antenna element is presented, consisting of a single antenna element with two matched and isolated ports. Matching, bandwidth, and losses are comparable to a standard dipole. The radiation patterns are highly omnidirectional with linear polarisation. The antenna can be implemented both with and without a groundplane. In both cases, the feed lines should be unbalanced.
