New Method to Solve 3D Transient Electromagnetic Field-Circuit-Motion Coupling Problem

A new method to solve the 3D transient electromagnetic field-circuit-torque coupling problem was proposed,in which the external circuits, nonlinear magnetic properties,eddy-current effects and movement were taken into account. The method can be applied to engineering. The transient 3D magnetic field circuit coupling problems were solved by the Crank-Nicholson method, and the problem of motion was handled by the interpolation movement interface method that was a kind of nonconforming movement technique. The torque was calculated by nodal force method. To verify the validity of the method,it is applied to analyze the model of TEAM Problem 10,24 and the moving model of problem 24.The errors are all less than 2% and the computation time is reduced evidently. That is,the new method can solve coupling problems of 3D transient electromagnetic field-circuit-moving system efficiently.
