Model-based phase retrieval in two-port microwave network measurements

A method is proposed for the retrieval of phase-related quantities from magnitude-only measurements on microwave networks that are to be manufactured and tested in large quantities. A reduced-order model is developed using the prototype of such a system and then used to retrieve the phase of nonprototype devices under test. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
