Influence of free reflecting surfaces on the cavitation region excited by parallel underwater discharges

The influence of free reflecting surfaces on the cavitation region excited by parallel underwater discharges is described in this article. The interaction is shown of afterdischarge cavitation pocket and water flows with different surfaces. A way to increase the efficiency of the electrodischarge cavitation treatment of small objects is proposed. The change of the direction of the water flow motion in the cavitation region, including the vertical direction, is possible by the combining of the relative positions of the reflecting surfaces in a reactor.
