Analysis and Research on Real-Time Operating System based on RTAI-Linux

In this paper, the characteristics of real-time system is discussed, and the deficiency of standard Linux as real-time operating system is analyzed. The major idea of RTAI enhancing Linux kernel's real time capability and the macha-nism of its design and implementation is also analyzed in detail.
