The invention discloses a washing machine and a washing machine control method. The washing machine comprises a first washing chamber, a second washing chamber, an ultrasonic energy exchanger and an ultrasonic generator. The first washing chamber is used for rinsing and/or spin drying and/or drying clothes, the ultrasonic energy exchanger is arranged in the second washing chamber and used for generating ultrasonic oscillation and transferring the ultrasonic oscillation into washing water in the second washing chamber to wash clothes in the second washing chamber, and the ultrasonic generator is connected with the ultrasonic energy exchanger and used for converting power voltage into operating voltage of the ultrasonic energy exchanger. Since ultrasonic oscillation is directly transferred into the washing water instead of being transferred through the washing chambers, impact of ultrasonic oscillation to the washing machine is greatly lessened, and the service life of the washing machine is prolonged while safety of the washing machine is improved.
