Parameters optimization of DC voltage droop control based on VSC-MTDC

This paper proposes an approach to optimize the parameters of DC voltage droop control. The objective is minimizing the sum of ITAE(integral of time-weighted absolute value of error) of DC voltage, active power and reactive power of the VSC(voltage sourced converter). The simplex algorithm is adopted to solve this problem. The initial values of the parameters of DC voltage droop control are known, as well as the values of other parameters. At last, a three-terminal MTDC(multi-terminal direct current tramsimission) is set in PSCAD to test the effective of this optimization algorithm.
