Enhanced robust Capon beamforming using eigenspace-like method

An enhanced robust Capon beamforming (RCB) approach is proposed to achieve robustness against steering vector errors. The proposed method is based on the basic idea of modifying the desired steering vector estimated by original RCB approach to obtain the more accurate estimate of the desired steering vector. As demonstrated by simulation results, the proposed method has a better performance than the classic RCB and the previously proposed uncertainty set based approach.
