Skyline web service selection with MapReduce

With the development of Service and Cloud Computing, more and more web services with similar function attributes but different QoS are available. Efficient selecting from these large numbers of web services brings challenges to the existing methods. Furthermore, service selection has been always a tedious process. In this paper, toward these issues, we make use of skyline with MapReduce to select the appropriate services efficiently and equally. An analytical and experimental comparison shows that our computing scheme of skyline with MapReduce outperforms traditional selection techniques in reducing the response time and sharing the computational workload more fairly.
