The invention provides a blast furnace shell upside-down charging method. The method is especially suitable for modifying a blast furnace surrounded by a furnace frame, and can reduce the construction cost, accelerate the construction speed and accurately position a furnace zone. The blast furnace shell upside-down charging method comprises the following steps: sending an nth furnace zone into the furnace frame at an opening at one side of the lower portion of the furnace frame, lifting the nth furnace zone through the working of the upper portion of the furnace frame, aligning, and fixing the circumference of the nth furnace zone to the furnace frame; and sending an mth furnace zone into the furnace frame from the opening, lifting the mth furnace zone through working, aligning, and butt-welding the mth furnace zone to an (m+1)th furnace zone, wherein m=n-1, n-2, ..., 2,1, and n is a natural number; and when aligned, a cross curve drawing method is adopted to find the center of the blast furnace, a suspension line is drawn, and the error between the center of the furnace zone and the center of the blast furnace is determined through the circular motion of a long fine line and a short fine line around the suspension line according to the distances of eight outside labels to the outer ring of the furnace zone and a distance of one end of the short fine line away from the suspension line to the inner ring of the furnace zone.
