Electromagnetics: computational methods and considerations

Frequency-domain computational techniques in electromagnetics make specialized use of generic integral-equation and finite-element methods. Familiar advantages and drawbacks apply. Though EM theory has changed little since Maxwell, numerical solution methods have improved sharply; yet, while analysis tools now flourish, practical design software is scarce. Also, EM area editor E. Miller offers a few comments. >
