The invention relates to the field of data transmission, in particular to a system for flexibly organizing a live broadcast and on-demand unicast service of a multi-stream streaming media. A mechanism organization and a media organization are defined through the structure of a recursion tree, each mechanism node can define media channels of a limited number, a leaf node of each channel strucure can have one or more live broadcast or on-demand unicast resources of the multi-stream streaming media, and therefore the system for flexibly organizing the live broadcast and on-demand unicast service of the multi-stream streaming media is formed. Compared with the prior art, the system can support any mechanism to flexibly organize the media resources, the multi-stream streaming media can be conveniently applied to different organization mechanisms for flexible deployment, and the system can be applied to network teaching, online video and other streaming media applications.
