Quadruped is a kind of earthly locomotion among animals using four legs. Whether be it an animal or machine, moving in a four leg movement style is known as a quadruped, which means “four feet”. Nonetheless, it was observed that the majority of quadrupeds are found in vertebrate animals, which includes mammals like farm animals, dogs, cats and reptiles like lizards. This quadruped robot project intends to give an in depth view of the technical and programming aspects in designing a walking robot. This robot look like a four pedal robot. The robot will walk and run depends on the speed of the motor. The quadruped robot walking gaits are developed manually in ‘c-language’ and compiled in Arduino IDE. The parts of legs are known as ‘coxa’, ‘femur’ and ‘tibia‘.
