폐스티로폴을 활용한 경량복토재의 토압특성

The objective of this paper is to investigate the characteristics of earth pressure as light weight fills using recycled stylofoam bead and disposal soils. Because recycled stylofoam bead is light, adiabatic and effective for vibration interception, if it is used as fills, it is expected effects of reduction of earth pressure, vibration interception and prevention from frost heave. Therefore in this study, laboratory tests, unconfined compression test, earth pressure test were performed with changing a mixing ratio of recycled stylofoam. As a result, it is substantially appeared more effects of earth pressure reduction with fills using recycled stylofoam bead than good banking materials. And also it is appeared to reduce the effect of earth pressure under overburden pressure.
