Specific, homologous radioimmunoassay (RIA) of highly purified subunits of human pituitary follicle stimulating hormone (hFSH).

ABSTRACT hFSH subunit isolation was discerned with RIA's for hLHα and hFSH. Subunits recombined to 70% of hFSH bio-potency and 100% of hFSH RIA potency. hFSHβ RIA was unreactive to other glycoproteins and their subunits, except for Intact hFSH. In hFSHα RIA, hFSHα, hLHα, hTSHα and hCGα were equally reactive.
