Analog Devices in Military Systems

Superconducting analog signal processing devices have potential applications in many military systems. Several promising applications are examined here, including delay lines, tapped-delay-line filters, dispersive delay lines, phase shifters, and low-noise oscillators. For each application, the devices and how they fit into a system are discussed. The advantages of superconductors over conventional technology are examined.
