PURPOSE: An information storage medium storing moving image data and additional data, and a reproducing device and a method thereof are provided to store basic moving image data and additional data added with a browsing function and a mutual operation with a user. CONSTITUTION: Data for a code mode includes moving image data consisting of stream data where moving image data is compressed/coded, and navigation data for controlling a reproduction of the moving image data. Data for a full mode includes browser mode data consisting of a markup language and an execution script, and/or program mode data consisting of a program language. Startup data includes data for designating data of a mode which has to initially reproduce each of mode data.
