Compact Left-handed Dual Mode Notch Bandstop Filter

An innovative compact microstrip line left-handed dual mode notch bandstop filter is presented, showing that the size of the bandstop filter can be significantly reduced by employing the left-handed meta-materials. The fabricated filter has the size of 11 mm times 50 mm, five times smaller than that of the conventional filter of the same class. The filter has a center frequency of 1.12 GHz
