Distributed support model for implementation of library automation (IO) at Indiana University

Indiana University is an eight-campus system which geographically spans the length and breadth of the state. Over the past several years, the development and implementation of a computerized, on-line cataloguing system for all libraries throughout the system has been a major initiative for the University. This Information Online (IO) system is the first phase of a fully automated, state-wide library system, encompassing all facets of the library, utilizing the NOTIS software from Northwestern University.
