OPTIMIZATION DESIGN OF DISTRIBUTION CAM MECHANISM IN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE BASED ON IMPROVED ANT COLONY ALGORITHMS

In order to solve the problem of distribution cam mechanism's vibration, crash and noises in operation, dynamical optimization model regarding distribution cam mechanism in internal combustion engine was built. Ant colony algorithms in the optimization were analyzed in detail. Since ant colony algorithms easily fell into local solutions, improved ant colony algorithms were got by combining ant colony algorithms and genetic algorithms effectively. Improved ant colony algorithms worked very efficiently in the optimization. Based on improved ant colony algorithms and MATLAB, optimization programs concerning the model were made and simulation was done. Compared with original design, the simulation results showed that plentiful coefficient improved. Dynamical maximum positive acceleration decreased in ascending and increased in descending. The maximum negative acceleration decreased. All these made system dynamical velocity and dynamical acceleration stable and alleviated shock vibration effectively.
