The secq–tanhq-method and its applications

Abstract By introducing the sec q –tanh q -method, we find some new solitary wave solutions of the multi-component nonlinear Schrodinger and Klein–Gordon equations and hence generalize the results of J. Phys. A 24 (1991) L587, Phys. Lett. A 277 (2000) 212, Appl. Math. J. Chinese Univ. B 15 (2000) 28, J. Phys. A 34 (2001) 4281.
