Structure adaptation in feed-forward neural networks

In this paper two new structures (algorithms) are proposed for adaptively adjusting the network structure. Both neuron pruning and neuron generating are considered for a feedforward neural network. Simulations results are presented to confirm the improvements that are obtained as a result of utilizing the proposed algorithms.<<ETX>>
