Optical image hiding based on chaotic vibration of deformable moiré grating

Abstract Image hiding technique based on chaotic vibration of deformable moire grating is presented in this paper. The embedded secret digital image is leaked in a form of a pattern of time-averaged moire fringes when the deformable cover grating vibrates according to a chaotic law of motion with a predefined set of parameters. Computational experiments are used to demonstrate the features and the applicability of the proposed scheme.
