at the American Institutes for Research, and later at the National Bureau of Standards. These projects involved several innovative applications of psychometric techniques, such as judgments of driver performance by passengers, and judgments of office situations by civil servants. His main efforts centered on judgments of urban spece by residents. and included a series of small scale surveys during 1966 through 1968. He was awarded a Ph.D. for this work in 1969. He is presently employed by CONSAD Research Corporation, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
