Experimental demonstration of SCFDMA-PON with source-free ONUs

Single-carrier Frequency Division Multiple Address (SC-FDMA) technique has been proposed for next generation passive optical network (PON). In this paper, we demonstrate both downstream and upstream SC-FDMA transmissions with source-free single wavelength transmission.
