Scalable video with raptor for wireless multicast networks

In this paper, we investigate scalability performance using H.264 codec for wireless multicast networks. A set of experiments are implemented to measure the error resilience of advanced Video codec (AVC) subsequences and Scalable Video Codec (SVC). The impact of Raptor, a powerful Forward Error Correction (FEC) code, is also investigated for scalability and a scheme for scalable codec with Raptor is proposed.
