Home Networking at 60 GHz: Challenges and Research Issues

We highly believe that 60 GHz wireless technology is an ideal candidate to be the future high-speed WLAN standard for home networks thanks to its unique characteristics. In this paper, we review and present the main aspects of the 60 GHz radio regarding future home networks. We introduce the fundamental challenges with the research issues and the considerations on some promising
