Recently, with a rapid spread of Internet, wireless LANs have been widely deployed in companies, public areas and home environments. Because of the ease of installation and low maintenance cost, wireless LANs are becoming popular solutions for many applications. In this context, companies investigate today on the next generation of wireless LANs for providing higher capabilities to customers. Data transfer from high resolution digital cameras, transfer of video and multimedia contents between computers and portable devices are considered as potential emerging mass-production applications; Wireless 1 Gbits/s LAN will certainly concurrence gigabit Ethernet links in a near future in our domestic environment, and we are investigating on such technologies.
