Fault tolerant voltage regulator module circuit for intel processors

PURPOSE: A voltage regulator module circuit for an INTEL processor is provided for a stand-by VRM(Voltage Regulator Module) to supply a power source into a processor when a voltage of a main VRM is low or a trouble is generated by mounting the stand-by VRM through a diode. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of main VRMs(110,130) supply a power source to a plurality of INTEL processors(120,140). In the case that a power supply trouble is generated in one main VRM out of the main VRMs(110,130), a stand-by VRM(150) supplies a preliminary power source corresponded to the main VRM having the trouble. In the case that a power supply trouble is generated in one main VRM out of the main VRMs(110,130), a plurality of diodes(D1,D2) are connected among the main VRMs(110,130) and the INTEL processors(120,140) in parallel for sensing the corresponding trouble and transmitting a preliminary power source to the corresponding INTEL processor. A control signal set switch(160) outputs a VRM control signal for setting an output voltage level of the stand-by VRM(150).
