Terminal equipment and starting method thereof

The invention discloses a starting method of terminal equipment. The method also comprises the steps that first terminal equipment acquires a fingerprint image of an operator through a fingerprint identification area; the first terminal equipment analyzes the fingerprint image so as to obtain the fingerprint characteristic of the operator; the first terminal equipment judges, according to the fingerprint characteristic of the operator, whether the user type of the operator is a preset user type; if yes, the first terminal equipment sends an application request to start the first terminal equipment to second terminal equipment bond with the first terminal equipment; and if the first terminal equipment receives a confirmation command sent by the second terminal equipment to respond to the application request, the first terminal equipment is started, wherein the confirmation command is used for confirming starting of the first terminal equipment. An embodiment of the invention also provides the terminal equipment. Through adoption of the terminal equipment and the starting method thereof, children or teenagers are prevented from using the intelligent terminal equipment excessively.
