Drip infusion pyelography. Its evaluation as a routine examination.

Infusion pyelography is not indicated as the routine intravenous examination. There is no greater incidence of satisfactory diagnostic studies than with lower dose methods. Artefacts of technique, profound nephrogram and diuresis are distinct disadvantages.The value of this form of urography for the examination of the patient with impaired renal function and for nephrotomography is confirmed.The method is indicated after an unsatisfactory[See figure in the PDF file]urographic study and prior to retrograde pyelography.
