Veblen's Influence on the New Deal Land-Utilization and Enlightenment

Veblen's theory and practice on land-utilization provide us an important inspiration for the current management of "four kinds of wasteland".This management should protect the diversity of wildlives and should be under the integrative control and macro control of the government,which may be more beneficial to our sustainable development than selling the waste land at auction.
