The application ofmicro-wear analysis to the artefacts of (i series of pre-ceramic sites in Colombia is expected to amplify the interpretative possihilities of (hert implements of a typo-morphologically undiagnostic character. As a pilotstudy for this research project, o seleclio/i of artefacts from the site Galindo was analyzed. The results of the analysis indicate that the traditional typology tised to classify these tools is nol always relevant for a functional interpretation.
