수직한 수력이송장치 내 캡슐의 속도 제어

We present results of a combined experimental and theoretical investigation of the dynamics of acapsule carried by fluid in a vertical pipe. We develop a physicla model for a capsule falling in a vertical pipe, which predicts the dependence of the capsule velocity on the volume flowrate through the pipe and the gap distance between the capsule and tube. The model shows a good agreement with experimental measurements with a vertical pipe with an inner diameter of 3.2 ㎝ with various flow rates of water. Our results thus provide the parameter to control the capsule speed, which can be used for hydraulic transportation of sludge, hazardous material and probe.
