OFDM-Based Multi-Carrier Waveforms Performances in 5G

One of the area targeted to achieve the ambitious objectives set for the 5G is represented by new modulation and coding schemes, a new frame structure and flexible waveform referred as new radio and numerology. This paper assesses five waveforms candidates capable to handle the wide range of carrier frequency in typical 5G scenarios. The evaluated performance parameters for all these waveforms are the downlink and uplink throughput per user
